NetSuite Consultant

Position Summary

Responsible for leading NetSuite implementation projects, providing ongoing client support, and delivering business-focused NetSuite solutions. This role works closely with clients to analyze requirements, design solutions, configure NetSuite, and optimize business processes. The ideal candidate has strong functional NetSuite expertise, excellent communication skills, implementation experience, and a consultative approach to solving client challenges.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience required
• Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP functionality and business processes
• Experience leading discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and business process reviews with clients
• Experience participating in or leading NetSuite implementations
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience supporting clients through post-go-live stabilization and optimization
• Experience with Saved Searches, Dashboards, Workflows, reporting, and system configuration

Desired Experience & Skills

• Experience working for a NetSuite Solution Provider, Alliance Partner, or consulting firm strongly preferred
• NetSuite certifications
• Knowledge of NetSuite accounting and financial functionality
• Accounting, finance, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing industry experience
• Experience leading NetSuite implementations from discovery through go-live
• Experience conducting product demonstrations for prospective clients
• JavaScript and/or SuiteScript experience

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Lead project planning and execution
• Conduct client and internal meetings
• Coordinate communications and manage resources
• Maintain accurate project updates and documentation
• Ensure all time is captured and posted correctly
• Deliver projects on time and within budget
• Perform post-project reviews
• Ensure team is available and, if necessary, on site during go live
• Prepare issue lists
• Communicate implementation to support transition processes clearly

2. Client Support

• Respond promptly to client requests
• Provide immediate solutions when possible or create support tickets (for efforts exceeding 15 minutes)
• Confirm requirements
• Prepare time-based or formal quotes as needed
• Accurately track and enter time
• Provide consistent status updates
• Document solutions thoroughly
• Follow up to ensure resolution and client satisfaction
• Identify additional client needs

3. Solution Design & Configuration

• Design and configure NetSuite solutions to meet client business requirements
• Configure workflows, dashboards, saved searches, reports, and system preferences
• Test and validate new functionality and enhancements
• Demonstrate completed solutions to clients
• Track time accurately
• Follow up to ensure resolution and client satisfaction
• Review actual vs. estimated time
• Share new skills, tools, and solutions with the team
• Participate in peer reviews
• Contribute reusable solutions to internal libraries
• Implement fixes and enhancements as required
• Identify automation opportunities and recommend system enhancements

4. Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Prioritize and manage issue lists
• Identify process automation opportunities
• Identify future projects
• Identify relevant courses and learning opportunities
• Maintain NetSuite certifications

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
